Every year the Market does a favor for its Senior customers. On Sept. 24th those 62 or over may sign up for a free raffle of gift certificates and other items from local merchants.
In addition, the first 50 seniors to sign up will receive a carnation, courtesy of the Lyons Floral Shop and the Chamber of Commerce. (The rain date for this event is Oct. 1st.) Also on the schedule for Sept. 24 is a bake sale by the Lyons Music Boosters.
As always, you'll find plenty of fresh, locally-grown produce being offered by the vendors and fried dough fresh-cooked by the nearby Lutheran Church. WIC coupons and EBT tokens are accepted by most farmers. For more info, call Stephanie at 945-6569.
