POLYMER CLAY FOR KIDS
Saturday 11/12 1:30-3:30
Learn poly clay techniques and create jewelry and
sculpture just in time for the holidays.
PAINTINGS & PRINTS
Saturday 12/10 1:30-3:30
Use printing and painting skills to create winter
inspired themes (snowflakes & snow landscapes)
ADULT CLASSES:
CREATIVE WRITING Thursday nights 9/29 – 11/3 7:00 – 9:00
$45 members/$55 non members Organize a family legacy, outline your thoughts and ideas, and release emotions in the form of words. Learn how to use writing as an advantage in life. Sharon is an experienced and published author who wants to share the joy of capturing every day experiences through the flow of words. KNITTING Thursdays 10/6 – 11/3 3:30 – 5:30
$45 members/$55 non members Beginners to Intermediate.
Learn basic stitches by creating afghan blocks of different knitting stitches. Bring on skein of Worsted Weight yarn, your choice of color, and size 7 or 8 knitting needles. Contact Shirley Stowell at 315/331-8535 for questions and registration.
CROCHET WORKSHOP Tuesday, 10/18 9:30 – 12:30
$15 members/$25 non members Beginners
Learn basic crochet stitches by creating a potholder. Potential future classes will be discussed during workshop. Bring Crochet Hook size D or E (or purchase from instructor) and 1 ball of Peaches & Cream cotton yarn of any color. Contact Shirley Stowell at 315/331-8535 for questions and registration.
PRINTMAKING Saturdays 10/15 – 11/19 1:00 – 3:00
$70 members/$80 non members Material Costs Included Beginners age 13 to adult
Plan, cut and print a multi-color linoleum print. Similar to woodcut, but easier to work with, create your own print edition. This six week course offers an introduction and step-by-step approach to this versatile printmaking medium. Contact Ken Townsend at 315/331-7161 for questions and registration.
BASKETMAKING WORKSHOP Saturday 10/22 9:30 – 12:30
$10 flat fee for members and non members $3 Supply Fee
Beginners from ages 12 to adults (under 12 must be accompanied by adult)
Create and complete a “Small Wall Hanging Splint Basket” (example at Wayne Arts)
Bring old hand towel, utility grade scissors, and a tape measure. Marianne Clock is the instructor.
