Geneva Theatre Guild’s fall comedy, “All the Great Books (abridged),” is a play that condenses 86 classics of world literature into 90 riotous, laugh-filled minutes. The three cast members use every weapon in their comedic arsenal to prepare their students (the audience) to pass the final exam in Western Literature. Slapstick, cross-dressing and goofy jokes abound in this play written by Reed Martin and Austin Tichenor of the Reduced Shakespeare Company. Craig Deseiring of Phelps portrays Coach, Steve Mitchell of Geneva plays The Professor, and Geneva native RJ Rapoza rounds out the cast as The Student Teacher.
