Sawyer Christmas Concert December 11th
Don Collea, owner of the Wolcott Village Pharmacy, is keeping the Christmas spirit alive and also generating dollars to benefit the local community. Collea is doing this by selling buttons that say… It’s OK to Say Merry Christmas To Me!
The Wolcott Village Pharmacy, which sponsors the annual ‘Afternoon with Jeff Sawyer Concert,’ is selling the buttons for $2 and the money generated will help sponsor the Sawyer Concert and donate to the local food pantry.
The 12th annual “An Afternoon with Jeff Sawyer” Christmas concert will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Wolcott on Sunday, December 11th, 2011 from 3-5 pm.
Sawyer and the “Band” have completed the set list for the afternoon’s concert, and the line-up features the most musicians on stage since the inaugural event in December 2000.
Jeff Sawyer, along with singer Kelley Loveless, Matt Vacanti, Rick Bush, Dan Batchelor, and Larry Kyle are the regular performers. Sawyer, as usual, has invited many talented special friends to help celebrate the holiday season. Be sure not to miss this traditional event. The 2011 program is a dazzler.
The special Christmas buttons may be purchased at the Wolcott Village Pharmacy, Main Street in the village of Wolcott.
An Afternoon with Jeff Sawyer is a free annual concert sponsored by the Wolcott Village Pharmacy and there will be refreshments and of course… many surprises. For more information call Chris Kenyon at 315-594-1952 or e-mail him at ckenyon@rochester.rr.com.

“I will take the proceeds from the button sales and donate the money to the Wolcott area food pantry,” Collea said. Some of the proceeds will always be spent on toys for needy children during this Christmas.”The Wolcott Village Pharmacy has sponsored the Sawyer Concert for the past six years. “I consider this concert the Wolcott event of the year,” Collea said. The music is always amazing and the location in the First Presbyterian Church of Wolcott has the ambience for this special Christmas entertainment. I’m proud to sponsor this concert.”
