For many years, aspects of the New York State Erie Canal have been the focus of photo buffs and artist enthusiasts. Yesterday, December 1, 2011, members of the Genesee Valley Plein Air Painters, Inc. (GVPAP) captured "history in the open air" while painting in the Palmyra-Macedon Aqueduct Park. The GVPAP is a plein air artist association of "committed artists who paint in the outdoors, on site in natural light, all year long"...
