On January 21 at 11 a.m. in the Community Room, the Lyons Public Library at 122 Broad Street in Lyons, will host an author talk and book signing by Scott Pitoniak, author of, “Color Him Orange: The Jim Boeheim Story.”
Pitoniak is a graduate of Syracuse University and has been a sports writer for nearly four decades. Scott spent 25 years as a columnist for the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle and is the author of more than 12 books. During his career he covered the Olympics, Super Bowls, World Series, major golf tournaments as well as the Buffalo Bills, high school sports and Syracuse University.
Copies of the book will be available for sale for $25 with part of the proceeds benefitting the library. He will talk briefly about the book, answer questions, and then sign books.
This program is free and open to the general public. Parking at the library is at the back that is accessible from Phelps Street.
