Wayne County Council for the Arts opens their 2012 season with the popular Wayne County High School Art Exhibit from March 8th through the 24th. We celebrate our 30th consecutive year for this exhibition of art created by students from Wayne County High Schools.

In addition to our High School Exhibit, Beau J. Watson will exhibit in our Member’s Gallery with his interest of mixing mediums such as traditional 35mm black and white photography with inks and acrylic paints. His style of art continually evolves. For the past several years he has been focused on Contemporary Art and Pop Art. Beau enjoys experimenting with numerous mediums including inks, paint, and photography.

Beau received his Associate in Arts Degree from FLCC in Liberal Arts and Science with a concentration in Graphic Design; Bachelor of Arts Degree from SUNY Oswego in Studio Art and has a Master’s Degree from Nazareth College in Education. He is certified in Art K-12, Childhood Education, and Special Education.

Opening Reception will be held on Sunday, March 11th from 2:00 – 4:00 pm. Parents, friends and public are welcome.
