'Living Well Together' Community Health Fair at the Lyons Community Center
When: Saturday, 31 March 2012 from 9 am to 1 pm
Bring your whole family out for this fun-filled health & wellness event. Over 40 vendors are planning to attend. Many great demonstrations, shows and services will also be available.
This years fundraising efforts will be donated to The Elizabeth Wende Breast Cancer Fund on behalf of Judy Hartwell for her courage and strength. Judy is married to Lyons High School teacher, Mr. Rodney Hartwell. The funds raised will help to support care, diagnostic education and research regarding breast health and cancer.

- FREE Give-Aways, Face Painting and Balloons
- Free bicycle helmets from Wayne County Public Health
- Operation Safe Child enrollment ( Photo ID and fingerprinting) offered through the Wayne County Sheriff Department
- 9 am-1 pm Free Cardiac Screenings offered by Dr. Gomez (limited to 40 pre-registered participants)
- 9 am –11 am Breakfast will be available to purchase from the Lyons Community Center
- 10 am-11 am Performance by the Lyons Elementary School SoloFest Participants
- 10 am-10:30 am Free Zumbatomic for kids ages 4-12
- 10:30 am-11:30 am Zumba Basic $5.00 registration fee and gift basket raffles (fundraiser)
- 11 am-12:30 pm BBQ Chicken Take Out Dinners for $8.00 each available from Stoney’s Country BBQ (pre-sale tickets available)
