The Newark-Arcadia Historical Society's 20th Annual Meeting & Dinner is Thurs. April 19, at the Quality Inn, N. Main St., Newark. Social hour begins at 6 p.m., with dinner served at 7 p.m.
The speaker is Raya Lee, who will present "The War of 1812 - Fury, Frenzy & Honor" through song and storytelling. This program is made possible by the NYS Council for the Humanities.
A buffet dinner ($24) will include Ham, Chicken French, Rigatoni, Vegetable Medley, Salads, Oven Roasted Potatoes, Rolls, Coffee, Tea, Ice Cream and Anniversary Cake.
