After playing his first season with the RIT Tigers Ethan Humbert has made the choice to come back to Wayne County and play for The Newark Pilots this 2012 season.
Ethan is a 6’2” 195 lbs southpaw from Rose, New York getting himself prepared to help The Pilots repeat a Championship run in this up coming season. After adjusting to the Liberty League, Humbert has made a vast improvement to finish out his first year at the collegiate level. When Battling for the Roc against rival University of Rochester Yellow Jackets, Humbert threw 7 innings allowing only 4 hits despite the 1-0 loss.
Overall this season Ethan has dealt 51.1 innings and fanned 41 batters. He is looking to be a key piece to the pitching staff this year and help the Pilots have another successful season. Humbert is ready to head back home and be able to play the game he loves with the Wayne County team The Newark Pilots.
