Sep 30 - Frank Judge, Lawrence Berger. Josh Smith and Cindy Blair: On Sunday, September 30 at 4:00 PM, Frank Judge, Lawrence Berger, Josh Smith and Cindy Blair will read their poetry at Books, ETC. Frank Judge is currently president of Rochester Poets and Coordinator of the Rochester Poetry Workshop. Frank is also serves as the Rochester coordinator for Poets Against the War and for World Poetry Day. Cindy Blair was raised in the Christian faith with a love of verse from the Bible. Her poems have been published in several anthologies and online. “Whispers to My Heart: Emerging from the Depths with God” is her first solo collection of poems. Josh Smith is an internationally-recognized poet from Buffalo, NY. His work has been published by the Buffalo News, Ploughshares, and numerous other outlets. He has been featured in Montreal, Toronto, Erie, and Rochester amongst other places; and in 2012, captured the Best of Buffalo award for Best Poet. Lawrence Berger’s writing technique is called Instant Poetry (Just add words!). He has been using this technique for over thirteen years now.
