Oct. 24 - On October 18, 2012 in the Palmyra Village Hall, Arnie Pechler, CEO of United Professional Advisors, Palmyra, was the featured speaker in the most recent Ninth Period History Class series presented by the Palmyra Historic Preservation Commission.  During his talk, 'Repurposing with a Purpose',  Mr. Pechler outlined what steps were taken in the conversion of the former library building to offices for his company. Before and after photos illustrated challenges met and decisions made to respectfully convert the building, a village landmark, from one purpose to another.
