You might have heard of the Newark Wahoos Swim Club. On Saturday November 17 from 7 to 9 PM the Newark Elks Club has agreed to host a fundraising event to benefit the Wahoos. The Wahoos now have 30 kids swimming in our top notch local competitive swim club for kids aged 8 to 18.
You might have heard of the Newark Wahoos Swim Club. On Saturday November 17 from 7 to 9 PM the Newark Elks Club has agreed to host a fundraising event to benefit the Wahoos. The Wahoos now have 30 kids swimming in our top notch local competitive swim club for kids aged 8 to 18.
I will be playing my usual mix of acoustic pop tunes and rock anthems from 7 to 9 PM. There is a suggested donation of $2 a person at the door. We will certainly accept more, however. ;-) There will also be a 50/50 raffle to benefit the Wahoos. I will have my song list available--for $1 towards the Wahoos you can request a song from the list and I'll play it--just for you. And yes, Mr. Kreuser, I'll save that Miley Cyrus song you love so much until you get there. I will also have copies of my CDs of original music which you can take home for a donation of any amount.

The Elks Club will have their cash bar open and food available to purchase.
