We're pleased to announce this year's lineup of speakers for the 2013 Winter Lecture Series! The first one starts this Saturday!

All programs are held on Saturdays, beginning at 2:00 p.m., at the Newark-Arcadia Museum, 120 High St. If you'd like to reserve a seat(s), give us a call (although often not necessary). In the event of really bad weather, give the museum a call for info.

Feb. 2nd - "Historic Churches of Wayne County", by Loreen Jorgensen of Palmyra. Loreen will present a power-point presentation. Come and hear more about the churches in Newark, including the former Christian Science Church (now the N-AHS Museum).

Feb. 16 - "Remembering Downtown Newark", by John Zornow
Mar. 9 - "Willow Avenue Cemetery: an Anecdotal History on Newark's North Main St. Cemetery", by Barbara Meeks
Mar. 16 - "No Freedom Skrieker: the Civil War Letters of Union Soldier Charles Biddlecom", by Katherine Aldridge
Mar. 23 - "Zurich Bog", by Peg Pelletier & Ken Townsend

For info: 315-331-6409
