You know a veteran is one who has been in a branch of service during war or peace time, but did you know that each branch of the American military defines a specific message to the man
or woman sworn in to protect our way of life? A creed is an oath or saying that provides a set of values by which to live, fight and work. Thus, a creed set the tone for each branch of service. Personnel in each branch of service are expected to thoroughly know its associated creed. There are also separate creeds tailored for officers and non-commissioned-officers as well as special units such as the Army Rangers and Navy Seals. There is a lot more on creeds.
