 The Canaltown Chorale has announced the dates of its annual Christmas concerts. The theme for this year's concert is Bells of Christmas and will feature a variety of Christmas music from classical to modern day. 

The Chorale will be under the direction of Jerry Hefley. Kay Oosterling will accompany on keyboard and Laurie Leenhouts will accompany on violin. 


The Walworth Council of Churches is sponsoring the first performance. This concert will be on Friday, Dec. 6 at 7:30 PM at the United Methodist Church, 3679 Main Street in Walworth. The Walworth Council of Churches will be accepting a freewill offering.

 On Sunday, December 8th @ 4:00 p.m.,  there will be a second performance at the Palmyra First United Methodist Church located on the corners of Church and Main Streets in Palmyra. A suggested donation of $5.00 per person will be accepted at the door. 

 On Tuesday, December 10th @ 7:00 p.m.,  there will be a third performance at the United Church of Phelps, 58 Main Street in Phelps.  A suggested donation of $5.00 per person will be accepted at the door.   


These concerts are made possible in part with public funds from the New York State Council of the Arts Decentralization program, which is administered locally by Auburn Public Theater.
