| Skiing the trails at the Mays' farm in Williamson |
For the fourth year in a row, Jim and Carol May, Trail Works members will host a winter hike on Sunday, January 26 from 2-4 PM beginning at their Apple Orchard, 7304 Stoney Lonesome Rd. Williamson NY.
The May’s farm is criss-crossed with snowmobile tracks and it is possible to ski or snow-shoe over 3 miles without leaving the property. Those who are more ambitious can follow the snowmobile route to the Pultneyville Deli, about 3+ miles, have some soup and return to the barn, or arrange for a carpool. There will be a warming fire and hot chocolate at the trail head. Participants may bring a snack to share. Of course - we are hoping for snow --- and the hike can either be on snow shoes or cross country skis.
