Seth Bailey, a sophomore at East Stroudsburg University, earned his first NCAA Division II All America honor at his second appearance at the NCAA Division II Championships held in Winston-Salem, North Carolina earlier this month.  Bailey placed 12th on the national list of student athletes to compete but placed 3rd in the national competition.

Bailey had also tied the school record for Men's High Jump with a mark of 6-11 3/4.  He shares this record with fellow ESU student, William Berry.

What does it mean to be "All-American"?  College players at an amateur level are selected for their outstanding skill level and performance and therefore given the honorary title of "All-American" and become a member of team "All-America".

Bailey, who hails from Palmyra and is a 2012 graduate of Palmyra-Macedon School District also holds Pal-Mac Track and Field school records.  He currently holds top position for indoor track events High Jump 6'1, 55m Dash 6.72, 300m Dash 36.98 and outdoor event 200m Dash at 23.19.
