On Saturday, May 3, the Seneca County Arts Council will hold a “Painting in the Style of the Masters” Workshop at the Arts Council Gallery, 109 Fall Street, Downtown Seneca Falls. The workshop will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a lunch break.
Artist Roberta Nelson will teach participants to experiment with painting in the style of the impressionists or post-impression artists. Visuals of their work and an explanation of their methods and techniques will be discussed.
Come and enjoy painting in the manner that early apprentices learned their craft.
Participants should bring materials and medium that they like to paint with. Roberta will have information sheets describing several methods and techniques used by various artists.
