Apr 29 – Chuck Martin and Julie Blue: The Parker Road Poets: On Tuesday, April 29 at 7:00 PM, Chuck Martin and Julie Blue will read from new poetry at Books, ETC. Chuck’s new book of poetry is entitled, The Human Theater. Chuck’s poetry is alive with humor and irony. He is a founding member of the Wayne Writers Guild. Julie Blue is a local writer, poet and blogger. She will read prose poetry and selected chapters from her novel in progress, Stories from 28 Blackberry Lane. Julie's poetry is sometimes dark and angry, but always heartfelt, honest, and impulsive, and is slowly becoming infiltrated by motherhood and Mother Nature. This event is free and open to the public.
