David Michael Nixon has had many poems in magazines and anthologies. His most recent chapbook, Venus in Retirement, is available from Foothills Publishing. Kathleen Van Schaick, a retired teacher, was formerly the editor of Le Mot Just, the annual anthology of Just Poets, Inc. Her poems have appeared in ByLine, The Dire Elegies, anthology of endangered species, Listening to Water, an anthology of the Susquehanna Watershed, and Common Intuitions, anthology of women celebrating women. Her poem “women fish” won the 2006 S. Portia Steele Memorial Contest. This event is free and open to the public at Books, ETC., 78 W. Main St., Macedon, NY.
