Our goal is to demonstrate to students, parents, and community members the importance of good health and lifestyle skills and the positive impact these choices will have on academic success as well as our community as a whole.
This is an event you will not want to miss. This free fair includes information, displays, samples, and gifts from over 50 different health agencies. As you stroll around the Community Center you will come across free health screenings, many demonstrations and free children’s bicycle helmets, among many other events.
Special guest presentation at 9:30 am by SARA MURPHY, ABC'S EXTREME WEIGHT LOSS WINNER, will be present with Danelle Bell, owner of Refuel GFF in Newark. They will speak of Sara’s incredible journey as well as the Inspire Health and Fitness Conference that will be held later that day.
A 5k event is also being planned for this day. More details to follow.
There will be presale tickets for take-out Chicken BBQ prepared by the Lyons Fire Department. Proceeds will
benefit the Lyons Class of 2015. Contact Jill Harper if you are interested in purchasing tickets.
