Laurel House, a planned comfort care home in Newark, Wayne County, is set to open in the fall of 2016. Read on to see where you can help with this unique upstate New York phenomenon!
 
Laurel House is a comfort care home where residents will spend their final days, at no cost to themselves or others, in a highly supportive, warm and compassionate environment, surrounded by loved ones and kind-hearted staff and volunteers who attend to their needs. 

The organization committee of Laurel House began meeting last November and now, with incorporation, a board of directors, and active teams. The committee membership is now approaching 100.

Attend a meeting in Palmyra and find out what we are about! The meeting is set for Thursday, July 16, 6:30 p.m. at the Palmyra Community Center, 242 Stafford Street.
