The Mission Team at Park Presbyterian Church has recognized that the communities in Wayne County are not immune to the heroin andopioid "epidemic" so pervasive in our country. To address the issue we are offering a panel discussion as part of this Fall's "Mission of God" series of activities and speakers.
Representatives from law enforcement, FLACRA, the Newark School District and families dealing with addictions in their own families will be coming together on Saturday, September 24th from 10:00 a.m. until noon at the Park Presbyterian Church, 110 Maple Court. We urge the community to join us as we seek to find ways to address the issue in rural Wayne County. The Rev. Kirk Baker of Park Church will facilitate the discussion. Refreshments will be available. Reservations are appreciated. Please contact the church office, 315-331-2255 or parkchurch110@gmail.com.
