Crews of volunteers are making the difference at Laurel House Comfort Care home on Fair Street in Newark. Mild weather has enabled the workers to install new outside windows and doors.
All the asbestos has been removed and inside remodeling is underway. Volunteer carpenters worked on Friday and Saturday, February 3rd and 4th to frame in the two bedrooms, kitchen and common areas.
Donations of certain materials, are needed. Contact a Laurel House board member for details. Cash donations are needed for the project to continue on schedule.  Laurel House is a 501c3 exempt organization and all donations are tax deductible.
Help make Laurel House a reality in Wayne County in 2017.
