The Williamson-Pultneyville Historical Society wants you to join us in our mission of nurturing, sharing, preserving, and protecting the history of the Town of Williamson.

The Society is a non-for-profit organization relying on memberships, grants and fundraising for its financial support.  It maintains three properties: a c. 1858 landmark home and museum located at 4130 Mill Street; Centennial Park; and Gates Hall built in 1825 and located at 4107 Lake Road. All are located in Pultneyville, NY.

The Williamson-Pultneyville Historical Society sponsors monthly programs of historic interest as well as community events.  Perhaps you have attended one or more of the programs this year:  History of Orbaker’s Drive-In,  200th Anniversary of the Williamson Presbyterian Church,  Celebration of Women’s Suffrage, and Burned Over District play.

Or you may have attended community events sponsored by W-PHS such as the 60th Annual Homecoming, Beauty and Bounty of Pultneyville Home Tour, the 27th Annual Community Garage Sale or the Moonlight Cemetery Tour.

You may find information on our upcoming events, such as the Harvest Dinner on November 1st and the Christmas Program on December 6th, on our website or facebook page.  There are some very exciting programs in the works for 2018 also.

Your membership not only supports the Society, but our community as well.  Our local history is rich and must be preserved.  Please join us in this effort.  There are four membership levels, each with benefits.  Visit the Williamson-Pultneyville Historical Society’s website at www.w-phs.org for more information on the Society, our membership levels, and to download the membership form. For your convenience there is also an on-line, fillable membership form.  Join now!!
